Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all Fly Scenic Townsville Flights

• Flight duration and flight paths may vary due to inclement weather, safety considerations and/or Air Traffic Control requirements.
• Flight Times are approximate.
• Minimum passenger numbers apply for flights (except Tiger Moth flights), bookings may be coordinated to achieve this.
• All prices are in Australian Dollars including GST and EMC and are subject to change without notice.
• All prices are per person (unless otherwise indicated) and are valid from 01 October 2007 to 31 March 2008.
• Weight limitations apply
• Due to aviation weight restrictions, a passenger's body and luggage weights must be advised prior to the reservation being confirmed. Should a weight variance of more than 10% occur at time of departure, the right is reserved to charge a full (100%) cancellation fee.
• Fly Scenic Townsville reserves the right to cancel and/or reschedule flights if the weather is deemed unsuitable for flying.
• Fly Scenic Townsville reserves the right to cancel and/or reschedule flights if a pilot is unavailable to fly at the scheduled time.
• Fly Scenic Townsville reserves the right to cancel and/or reschedule flights if the pilot deems the aircraft unserviceable at the scheduled time.
• If you need to change a reservation, please call at least 24hrs prior to the scheduled flight time. Changes made within 24hrs may be subject to the “No Show” rule.
• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the flight to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of flight departure will be charged the full cost of the booked fare.
• If you are ill on the day of the flight please call us as early as possible.
• Passengers will not be permitted to fly if they are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
• If a flight is cancelled due to intoxication the “No Show” rule will apply.
• If a passenger fails to honor a flight booking a 50% “No Show” fee will apply. The flight will only be rebooked once the “No Show” fee has been paid. No refunds will be given for “No Shows”.

The following terms and conditions apply to Fly Scenic Townsville Gift Vouchers

• Gift vouchers are valid for six (6) months from date of purchase.
• Gift vouchers are not refundable.
• Gift vouchers are fully transferable.
• Fly Scenic Townsville does its best to honor vouchers on the day the voucher holder wishes to fly allowing for weather conditions, aircraft serviceability and pilot availability.
• Should inclement weather or aircraft serviceability issues prevent the voucher holder from flying within the validity date of the voucher Fly Scenic Townsville will extend the validity of the voucher to the first available booking in clear weather with no disadvantage to the voucher holder.
   
• If the voucher holder wishes to redeem a voucher that is up to three (3) months past its expiry date the voucher holder is liable to pay any difference in price between the current price of the service and the purchase price of the voucher.
   
• If the voucher holder wishes to redeem a voucher that is between three (3) months and six (6) month past its expiry date the voucher holder is liable to pay any difference in price between the current price of the service and the purchase price of the voucher and is also required to pay a $30 reactivation fee.
   
• If the voucher holder wishes to redeem a voucher that is over six (6) month past its expiry date the voucher holder is liable to pay any difference in price between the current price of the service and the purchase price of the voucher and is also required to pay a $50 reactivation fee.
